My name is Emily. Like so many others, I have taken to Instagramming the shit out of everything I cook and/or eat. I decided that wasn’t enough, so here we are. Sit for a spell and enjoy what I’ve devoted so many hours, calories, and burned fingers, to showing you.
Some details: I am a Brooklynite via PDX. I’ve lived here since 2010, and while I thought that moving to the big city and into a small kitchen would squash all my desire to cook/bake, I have found the opposite to be true. The abundance of good food in this town is a constant source of inspiration, as are my crafty and foodie friends. These days I find myself thinking about recipes practically in my sleep and am always itching to try something new or put a healthier spin on an old fatty favorite.
That’s the long and short of it.
